Helen and Farhad met in college in Northern California, where they fell in love. Their Walima Reception took place at The Waterfront Beach Resort, November 28, 2009. Farhad & Helen's Walima was fulled with tradition and love; with delicious Samosa appetizers, ladies wrapped in colorful Sari, skin marked with Hannah and family plus friends came from as far as Africa! The beautiful 3 tier white and orange cake was made by none other then the Groom's own sister, Najmia.

"Walima" is the Arabic meaning to "gather and assemble" in celebration!

Their wedding took place waterfront in Oxnard, CA; mid December, YES! December! It was a beautiful day, a little windy but nothing our coordinator and former Raiderette couldn't handle. Always The Best Photography Video & DJ did a magnificent job providing the Dj, Photographer, & Videographer; "they're like a super vendor!" Sandy & Craig's ceremony followed their Jewish tradition of breaking the glass, while everyone shouted "Mazel Tov!" 

Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort did an awesome job accompanying our 200 guest wedding. Catered by their in house restaurant, Capistrano's.
